ANNA VYBORNOVA
Anna has a MSc in bioengineering from EPFL and brings to the team her operational experience in medtech and pharma. She was the first employee of a startup, where she led a team of engineers and doctors to bring a new consumer medical device to the European market. She has published multiple academic papers and holds 2 patents.
DR HENRY BLEST
Henry has a PhD in medical sciences from the University of Oxford and over the past 5 years has investigated the biology of both HIV and herpes simplex virus. He discovered herpes viruses prevent cGAMP transport. Additionally, he holds a joint honour’s degree in chemistry and brings practical experience and a network within the STI field to the team.
HANNY AMIN
As the Social Media Marketing and Community Building Manager, she supercharges brand awareness, elevates the brand, and helps reach future customers. She co-founded Klub Verboten, which has since become the most highly regarded and respected fetish community in London, Berlin, and Amsterdam. She built a community of over 90,000 people from the ground up and is notorious for knowing practically everyone in sex-positive spaces. A design and content creation rockstar, she understands better than anyone how to market and reach customers in taboo spaces.
DR PANTELITSA DIMITRIOU
Completed her PhD in Engineering at Cardiff University and her research focused on producing in-vitro platforms applicable to cancer screening and synthetic biology. To achieve this, she applied tools such as 3D-printing, microfluidics, artificial membranes and hydrogel-based 3D tissue cultures. Shortly after, she joined the Department of Chemistry at King’s College London where she explored the combination of droplet-microfluidics, multiple emulsions and hydrogels in the formation of artificial bacterial cell envelopes. Pantelitsa joined Polari Labs in October 2025 as an R&D Scientist and brings her expertise in hydrogels, microfluidics and bioengineering.
PARIS PATIENCE
Paris obtained a MSci in Biochemistry from UCL, where she worked within a single-molecule biophysics group tackling unknowns within genomic processes using optical tweezers. She joined FabricNano in 2022, developing a varied skillset in high-throughput process design, process automation and product development, with specialist knowledge in enzyme immobilisation. Paris managed pilot-scale production and cross-functional research campaigns across enzyme class and immobilisation chemistry. Paris now brings her experience in product innovation and optimisation to the Polari Labs mission.
